Overview
Aruba's tourism authority states that “all U.S. Nationals with a valid passport” may take part, with a minimum stay of one week and a maximum of 90 days. Participants must be employed or self-employed in their home country and “are not allowed to render services to and receive income from an Aruban company or individual”, which would require a work or business permit.
“You will not need any governmental documentation” beyond the standard online Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) card, and participants are not registered as Aruban residents.
Editor's note — Because it is a tourist stay, One Happy Workation gives no status to extend, no route to residence and no protection if immigration officers question repeated 90-day visits. Nationals of other countries fall back on Aruba's ordinary visa-free rules.

- U.S. national with a passport valid for the trip and proof of return.
- Employed by a company or self-employed in the United States.
- No services to, or income from, Aruban companies or individuals.
- Stay booked at a participating accommodation, one week to 90 days.
- Completed and approved online ED card before travel.

Taxes
